ListenTALK – wireless tour group communication system

Anyone who guides tour groups through a city, speaks at a conference, or conducts training needs to be heard by the audience. This is exactly what the ListenTALK mobile communication system enables: minimizing ambient noise and letting your voice transmit clearly to the audience. Interference from other digital systems (such as WLAN, Bluetooth, etc.) is avoided because the audio signals are transmitted in the frequency range of 1880 to 1900 MHz (Europe).

From one-to-one teaching to group communication

Devices for every application

The ListenTALK wireless and mobile communication system offers three device options, depending on your needs:

• Listen LK-1 – the all-rounder: This so-called “transceiver” functions as a digital transmitter and receiver at the same time. The advantage of this model is that guests can communicate with you or with each other at the push of a button. The handy device offers this in three easily adjustable modes: listening, answering, and talking to each other, effective over a range of up to 100 meters indoors and up to 200 meters outdoors. Settings for common functions such as volume, battery charge status and group membership are always visible on the easy-to-read OLED display. 

• Listen LKR-11 – the professional receiver: This device is suitable as a digital receiver for demanding applications and was designed for one-way communication. Settings for common functions such as battery charge status, group membership and signal strength are clearly visible on the OLED display at all times, and the volume is regulated using two buttons on the side. Thanks to NFC (near field communication), several devices can be synchronized quickly by simply holding the devices back-to-back with the transceiver to couple the devices with each other.

• Listen LKR-12 – the basic receiver: This receiver is designed for one-way communication and is characterized by its simplicity and ease of use. All functions are kept at a minimum, and only the volume can be adjusted on the device itself. There is no OLED display and the battery charge status appears in an LED display. 

All ListenTALK models are suitable for people with impaired hearing using headphones or induction loops. Users can easily connect their own smartphone headphones to the 3.5mm jack plug, battery life is up to eight hours in continuous operation, and rechargeable batteries, earphones and lanyards are included.

A wide range of accessories is also available. ListenTALK offers charging and synchronization stations with 4 or 16 slots as well as a transport case with 16 slots and an integrated charging function. Headphones, microphones and combined speech-hearing devices are available, as well as brackets, high-performance batteries, cable extensions or bags, and power packs. Proven technology

For secure and effective transmission, ListenTALK uses the international standard for telecommunications DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications). This technology works across national borders and is free of charge. For enhanced privacy and to protect against eavesdropping, the signal is encrypted during transmission.

All ListenTALK device types can be synchronized and configured using the charging station and the supplied software suite. The Listen LK-1 All-rounder device and Listen LKR-11 Professional Receiver device can also be synchronized using NFC (near field communication), enabling fast setup for uniform and clear communication.
